Funded Simulator doesn't collect your personal information. This page explains exactly what that means and what data is involved when you use the site.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to fundedsimulator.com ("Funded Simulator", "we", "us"). For any privacy-related question, email support@fundedsimulator.com.

2. What stays in your browser

When you use Funded Simulator, the following stays in your browser via localStorage:

Your trades, accounts, balances, and history
Your onboarding answers and selected plan
Your language preference

This data never leaves your device. We don't have a database. We don't have user accounts yet. We can't see your trades.

You own this data. Clearing your browser storage deletes everything — there's no copy on our end.

3. What we technically see

Funded Simulator is hosted on Vercel. When you load a page, Vercel's edge servers automatically log:

Your IP address
Your browser's user agent
The URL you requested
The timestamp

This is standard web infrastructure. We use these logs to keep the site running, debug errors, and protect against abuse (DDoS, bots, scraping).

Legal basis (GDPR Art 6(1)(f)): legitimate interest — operating and securing the service.

4. Cookies & local storage

We don't use third-party cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. Only essential browser storage:

Essential storage doesn't require consent under GDPR + ePrivacy.

5. Who we share data with

We share data with one service provider:

Vercel Inc. (United States) — hosts the website and processes the access logs described above. Transfers to the U.S. are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

That's it. No analytics services, no advertising networks, no email providers, no payment processors at this time.

This will change when we launch user accounts and paid plans. We'll update this policy before any new data processing begins.

6. Where it's stored

Your simulator data: in your browser, on your device.
Vercel access logs: Vercel's edge network (primarily United States), governed by SCCs.

7. How long we keep it

Your simulator data: as long as you keep it in your browser. Clear it any time.
Vercel access logs: per Vercel's retention policy (typically up to 30 days).

8. Your rights

Under GDPR (if you're in the EU/EEA/UK), you have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you
Rectify inaccurate data
Erase your data
Restrict processing
Port your data
Object to processing
Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority

Most of these you can exercise yourself by clearing your browser storage. For anything that requires us to act — for example, deleting Vercel access logs tied to your IP — email support@fundedsimulator.com. We respond within 30 days.

If you're outside the EU/EEA/UK, you may have similar rights under your local laws (CCPA in California, LGPD in Brazil, and others). Email us — we'll work with you in good faith.

9. Children

Funded Simulator is for adults. Trading futures involves significant financial risk and isn't suitable for minors. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the service, contact us and we'll delete relevant data.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our data practices change — most importantly, when we launch user accounts, paid plans, and email features. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged on the site before they take effect.
